Sofra Studio

Terms

Sofra Studio makes small apps, and these terms cover all of them. The first part applies to every app, and each app then has its own section for what's particular to it. By using one of our apps you agree to these terms, and how we handle your information is on our privacy page.

Using our apps

Use our apps for yourself and in good faith: don't try to break them, get around their limits, copy or resell them, or use them to harm anyone. If you make an account, keep your sign in to yourself, since you're responsible for what happens under it. We can suspend or close an account that's being misused.

The apps, their words, their design and their code belong to Sofra Studio or to the people we license them from. What you write in an app stays yours, and you let us store and process it only so the app can do its work for you.

Paying

Where an app sells anything, from an upgrade to a subscription, you buy it through Apple's App Store or Google Play, on their terms and at the price shown before you pay. Subscriptions renew until you cancel, which you do in your Apple or Google account settings, and refunds go through Apple or Google.

What we promise, and what we don't

We work hard to keep our apps running and correct, but we can't promise they'll never go down or never get something wrong, and we may change, pause or retire an app or a feature. Some apps write things with artificial intelligence, and what they write can be wrong, so treat it as something to think with, never as professional advice.

Nothing here takes away your rights under Australian Consumer Law, which can't be excluded. Beyond those, and as far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect loss from using our apps, and our total liability to you is limited to what you've paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Ending and changes

You can stop using an app and delete your account at any time from inside it. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll say so in the app or on this page before the change takes effect, and carrying on using the app after that means you accept it.

The law and talking to us

These terms are governed by the law of Victoria, Australia. If something goes wrong, write to hello@sofra.studio first and we'll try to put it right. Sofra Studio Pty Ltd, ABN 59 700 140 012.

The Cards

The Cards is a tarot app made for adults. Its readings are written by artificial intelligence from the cards you draw and the question you ask, for reflection and enjoyment. They don't predict the future and they're not medical, legal, financial or psychological advice, so please don't make serious decisions on a reading alone, and if you're struggling, talk to someone qualified.

The Cards is free to use, with a deep reading each day. If paid features come, they'll be sold through the App Store and described in the app before you buy. The card images are the 1909 Rider Waite Smith plates, which are in the public domain.

For anything about The Cards, write to hello@thecards.app.
